The Epinal International Piano Competition 2023 was held in Epinal, France from March 18 to 26, and the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX full concert grand piano was chosen as the official piano for the competition.

Italian/Slovenian pianist Alexander Gadjiev has been awarded the 2nd prize at the 18th Chopin International Piano Competition held in Warsaw, Poland from October 3rd~20th 2021, following a series of performances playing the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX full concert grand piano. Canadian pianist J J Jun Li Bui, who also selected the SK-EX for the duration of the competition, has been awarded the 6th prize.
Russian pianist Alexey Sychev has been awarded top prize at the 21st Jose Iturbi International Piano Competition held in Valencia, Spain from June 23rd~July 2nd, 2021, following a series of performances playing the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX full concert grand piano.
Martha Argerich, Akane Sakai and Evgeni Bozhanov will play the SK-EX full concert grand piano at an online concert with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria on March 25, 2021.
