Why do the files saved to USB memory by my Kawai digital/hybrid piano all have the same time/date?

Kawai digital/hybrid pianos do not incorporate a realtime clock function, nor the ability to set the current date/time.

As a result, instruments that feature the ability to save files such as audio/MIDI recordings or settings to USB memory, will always write this data with the same date/timestamp information.

Please note that this is not a hardware fault or software bug, nor can the behaviour be changed/improved via a software update.
